Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Lead Industrialization Engineer. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week) based at our Moon Township, PA location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:
The Lead Industrialization Engineer will lead electronics manufacturing and industrialization activities for new product introduction (NPI) projects, from early development through release for production. This role will drive the development, validation, and implementation of robust electronics manufacturing processes-including PCBA assembly, test strategies, and supporting documentation-to ensure successful product launches and sustainable production. The position will also provide technical manufacturing input for existing electronic products and designs, working closely with cross-functional teams and external electronics suppliers to enable efficient industrialization, manage technical and schedule risks, and meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electronics and PCBA industrialization activities for NPI and PLS projects from development through release for production.
Provide manufacturing and electronics input to design decisions to optimize manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), cost, quality, and component lifecycle robustness.
Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 practices for electronics manufacturing for NPI projects.
Lead specification and procurement of electronics tooling, test equipment, fixtures, and capital assets.
Lead electronics proto@type and pilot builds, including EMS coordination and pilot line readiness.
Validate electronics products and processes meet functional, regulatory, and performance requirements, support yield and issue resolution.
Develop and deploy electronics process controls, work instructions, test procedures, and operator training.
Analyze early electronics products and process data using DFSS, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
Manage electronic-related product costs and capital forecasts for NPI and PLS programs and support cost reduction initiatives and Continuous Improvement (CI) programs.
Mentor and develop engineers and peers to strengthen electronics industrialization capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering including experience in electronics manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience developing and deploying electronics production tooling and test fixtures (e.g., ICT, FCT, programming fixtures)
Experience with shop floor control systems and technologies supporting electronics traceability, serialization, and data collection
Experience leading electronics NPI and industrialization activities
Skills:
Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing quality tools, including process capability studies, gage R&Rs, and yield analysis
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE), and Lean Manufacturing as applied to electronics manufacturing and test
Working knowledge of electronic and electro mechanical manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, soldering, conformal coating, and final assembly
Working knowledge of electronic and electro mechanical components, production tooling, test fixtures (e.g., ICT/FCT), assembly equipment, PCBAs, electronic part and assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)
