A well-established San Francisco-based law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney to support its growing family law practice. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for an attorney with hands-on experience handling a broad range of family law matters. The role offers direct client interaction, meaningful case responsibility, and the potential for long-term placement within a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage family law matters from inception through resolution, including dissolution, custody, support, and related issues

Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and settlement agreements

Conduct case analysis, legal research, and factual investigations

Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Maintain organized case files and manage multiple deadlines

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active and good standing with the California State Bar

Prior family law experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working on-site in San Francisco five days per week
