Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Agronomy Sales Representative to join a team in Colby, KS with one of our large agricultural clients. This role is responsible for building trusted relationships with farmers, ranchers, and producers while driving sales of crop protection, crop nutrients, seed products, and related services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong agronomy knowledge, sales acumen, and a passion for supporting local producers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to drive long-term growth and repeat business
Manage profit and loss (P&L) for an assigned territory
Forecast monthly and annual supply requirements
Increase sales and margins through new customer prospecting and execution of sales programs
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
Create and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize value
Collaborate with other CHS divisions to support enterprise-wide growth and cross-selling initiatives
Apply consultative selling techniques using the CHS sales cycle to achieve targeted results
Influence effective product placement and adoption of agronomy solutions
Utilize strong mathematical and agronomic skills to formulate fertilizer and chemical applications
Lead and adapt to organizational and technological changes to drive efficiency and innovation
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures

Skills and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
4+ years of sales, business development, business operations, or related experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Agronomy sales experience
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field
Outside sales experience, including presentations, negotiation, and independent work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
