Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support day-to-day service operations for a food and food processing organization. This contract position is expected to run for a couple of months and will provide part-time support for two days per week, with flexibility to increase to three days if business needs require it. The person in this role will help maintain responsive communication with customers while ensuring accurate information is entered and updated across internal records.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer questions and service requests through email and other communication channels in a timely and thorough manner.

Enter, update, and verify customer information, orders, and service details with a high degree of accuracy.

Monitor shared inboxes and manage correspondence to ensure inquiries are routed and resolved efficiently.

Maintain organized records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and service outcomes for internal reference.

Coordinate with internal teams to address issues, clarify requests, and support smooth customer experiences.

Review submitted information for completeness and escalate discrepancies or unresolved concerns when needed. Requirements - Previous experience in a customer service role with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data entry with careful attention to accuracy and detail.

Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and maintain organized communication records.

Comfortable working independently in a part-time contract assignment with changing priorities.

Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple customer requests efficiently.
