Job Title: Security Administrative Assistant

Location: Powhatan Rd, Clayton, NC 27527

Duration: 8 months

Schedule: (Onsite) M-F Standard Business Hours

Pay Rate: $21.32/hr

Purpose

The Security Administrative Assistant performs front desk and receptionist services to ensure a professional and welcoming presence for the organization. This role manages visitor access, phone systems, mail handling, and provides basic administrative support to help maintain efficient office operations while meeting regulatory and confidentiality standards.

Essential Functions

Greets visitors and guests in a professional manner, notifies appropriate personnel of their arrival, and ensures visitors properly sign out.

Maintains, creates, programs, and terminates access cards according to company policy.

Issues employee, contractor, and trade partner badges, manages badge photos, and grants or deactivates site access as appropriate.

Ensures new hires receive access cards with proper photos taken and attached.

Creates, updates, and maintains badge layouts in the badging system.

Issues parking passes for both internal and external employees.

Provides general administrative and clerical support as assigned.

Ensures compliance with confidentiality and security standards.

Performs other duties as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Previous administrative experience required.

General computer literacy.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality.
