Summary About the Position: This Aviation Operations Specialist position is located at the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC)Command HQ - G-3/5/Safety Directorate, Operations Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Responsibilities Oversee aviation operations across the Command. Plan and direct the development, review and execution of aviation operations. Serve as the command aviation training mentor for all command Aviation personnel. Prepare, review and approve major aviation related reports for internal and external distribution. Present organizational briefings to convey aviation related strategic vision or organizational policy. Develop, modify, publish and distribute aviation regulation and policy as required. Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-04 is equal to the former GS-14 Step 01 through GS-15 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $188,167 including locality.
