Core AE Responsibilities
New Logo Acquisition
Own the full new-logo sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution alignment, negotiation, and close.
Develop pipeline in conjunction with a mature marketing team and a high-performing SDR organization.
Drive pipeline creation through outbound efforts, partner channels, and your existing network of CIO, CTO, CISO, and IT leadership relationships.
Position Red River's Managed Services portfolio as a strategic business enabler, not a commodity.
Represent Red River at industry events, partner conferences, and executive briefings.
Expansion & Renewals
Partner with Governance and Delivery teams to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Lead renewal conversations with a focus on increasing customer value, expanding service footprint, and strengthening long-term relationships.
Drive upsell and cross-sell motions leveraging VAR and PS engagements.
Collaboration & Execution
Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Governance, and Delivery to design compelling, tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM discipline.
Contribute to the Managed Services Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy by providing market feedback and competitive insights.
Requirements
5-10+ years of B2B technology sales experience, ideally in Managed Services, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or IT Operations.
Consistent track record of exceeding quota in a hunter/new-logo role.
Strong executive presence and the ability to articulate value to CIO/CTO/CFO audiences.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from mid-market to enterprise.
High drive, competitive mindset, and a passion for winning.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical, delivery, and marketing teams.
