Job Description
Join a graphics and signage printing company where you will sew fabric components used in signs and promotional items. You will work with sewing and industrial sewing machines to assemble, hem, and finish fabric pieces according to production specifications. Responsibilities
Sew fabric pieces for signs and promotional items using sewing and industrial sewing machines.
Operate industrial sewing equipment safely and efficiently to meet quality and production standards.
Follow work orders, patterns, and instructions to ensure accurate measurements and proper assembly of fabric components.
Perform basic machine setup such as threading, bobbin changes, and stitch adjustments as needed.
Inspect sewn products for quality, checking seams, hems, and overall appearance, and make corrections when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping materials and tools in good condition.
Collaborate with team members and leads to prioritize work and meet daily production goals.
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of equipment and adherence to facility rules and dress code.
Participate in training to learn company-specific sewing methods and production processes.
Support a positive, team-focused environment by communicating clearly and assisting coworkers when needed.
Essential Skills
Previous sewing experience in either a production or non-production environment.
Ability to operate a sewing machine confidently and consistently.
Familiarity with industrial sewing or upholstery-style sewing, or willingness to learn industrial equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail when working with fabric and stitching.
Ability to follow instructions, patterns, and measurements accurately.
Reliability and punctuality for a Monday-Friday first-shift schedule.
Willingness to work overtime before or after the regular shift when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with upholstery, production sewing, or industrial sewing machines is a plus.
Comfort working in a small team environment where roles can evolve as the business grows.
Interest in future growth opportunities such as lead or supervisory roles as the company expands.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse and bilingual team.

Work Environment
The facility is a smaller, family-oriented production environment with approximately 25 employees, fostering a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. The standard schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with frequent opportunities for overtime before and after the regular shift. You will work in a graphics and signage production setting using sewing and industrial sewing machines to handle fabric for signs and promotional materials. The dress code is casual, requiring closed-toe shoes and clothing that is appropriate and non-offensive; sweatshirts are acceptable in the winter and shorts are allowed in the summer. The team includes bilingual staff and supports a diverse workforce, with communication accommodated for both English and Spanish speakers. The environment is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and focused on teamwork and long-term growth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
