Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead construction automation efforts for complex projects, using database management, programming skills, and 3D tools. You will establish and administer the portfolio of construction automation applications on the jobsite and data requirements. You will review performance and recommend adjustments to tailor solutions to support strategy and compliance. #LI-BH1
Major Responsibilities:
Provides automation support to teams on project, including setup, training, application and process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software's and applications ?
Arranges, prepares, and conducts meetings, workshops, and presentations as required?
Assists with executing the project automation plan?
Evaluates and coordinates the implementation of new automation modules and tools?
Tests and supports data integration of new releases of production software/programs?
Customizes applications as required by customer?
Prepares user guides and training material and delivers training?
Develops performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends and use in improvements?
Applies knowledge of database management, programming skills, and 3D tools, to support team and project construction planning, work packaging, progress reporting, material management, turnover/completions, workforce management and timekeeping
Coordinate construction requirements with project IT lead/manager to ensure they're incorporated in the project automation plan
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Prior experience as a Coordinator / Administrator or Super User of similar Construction @type systems
Experience with building SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
Experience with Navisworks modeling software
Possess a strong understanding of Bechtel's progress measurement process (QURR).
Possess the ability to interface with all other project functions (IE. Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Startup, Safety, Quality, Subcontractors, Project Management including the Client) and develop an understanding of the entire project data realm.
Possess a strong understanding of Bechtel's progress measurement process (QURR).
Possess the ability to understand the data, infer data relationships, build and run data validation queries to recognize anomalies and develop recovery plans.
Willingness to learn and apply effective skills in support of other project automation initiatives (DSC, Power Apps, Power Automate, Drones/GIS, etc).
Consistently seeks out unsolicited feedback from customers and end users for improvements
Willingness to cross train, learn new applications and take on new application support
Minimum of 3 years of SQL database administration and management, including but not limited to:
Create/Manage Users, Security roles, Schemas, Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Job Tasks
Script Optimization
Data Validation
ETL
Recovery Plans
Preferred Qualifications:
In depth knowledge and understanding of Bechtel's standard construction automation portfolio
In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and SharePoint Online)
Experience in Engineering related applications like SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant P&D, SmartPlant Instrumentation.
Experience with 4D implementation and Autodesk modeling tools and visualization is desirable
Knowledge of Datacentric concepts and applications
Experience in data management for handover to client
Experience with turnover processes
Familiarity with Oracle, Access databases and SharePoint Online
Knowledge and understanding of Adapters and APIs for data integration with other applications Eg. S3D, Aconex, SPPID, Revit, etc.
