Summary The Program Support Assistant to Perioperative Services (Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) provides administrative support with all administrative functions in the OR, PACU, and ASC. The incumbent must demonstrate good communication skills to serve as a point of contact for the OR, PACU/ASC staff, OR scheduler, surgical care line schedulers, OR Materials Management Nurse and surgeons. Responsibilities Performs a variety of administrative and support @type duties in such areas as administration, budget, records and files management, property accountability and reports. Monitor/track competency files/requirements for professional staff, revises, analyzes and evaluates the accomplishments of various office administrative functions, such as records management, reports control, forms control and administrative standard operating procedures. Responsible for transmission of weekly/biweekly reports and other monthly data reports as per request. Receives routes and distribute all mail correspondence. Drafts SOPs and service memoranda. Performs work involving the collection, formatting, basic analysis, compilation, and/or tracking of a wide variety of data and statistical information in support of an organization's program operation. Receives, formats, enters, sorts compile and configure data from a variety of sources for recurring and non-recurring reports, charts and graphs used in evaluating staff hours and monies spent for Overtime, Annual Leave, and Sick Leave. Serves as Timekeeper for numerous T&L units within the department. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and timely submission of Time & Attendance reports for each employee whose record has been assigned to their jurisdiction. Timekeeper ensures timely and accurate posting of all exceptions to the employee's normal tour of duty. Coordinates and manages all resources including supplies, telephone and computer moves within Home Based Primary Care. Obtains and monitors the use of services, supplies, or equipment for the office demonstrating fiscal responsibility in order for HBPC to deliver safe, efficient care. Provides general office supply and equipment support services such as obtaining standard office supplies and services, procuring, or justifying the full range of office services, or answering questions concerning policies and procedures related to support/office services.
