Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: 85-95k/year

Position Overview:

System One is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support general ledger activities, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the general ledger, including preparing and posting monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions)

Perform detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met

Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits

Support internal reporting and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Assist in compiling audit work papers and regulatory filings

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

3-5 years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Google Sheets/Docs is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills
