POSITION: Nurse Aide Adjunct Instructor, Part Time
LOCATION: Clarkesville Campus
DESCRIPTION: The Nurse Aide Instructor is responsible for performing all aspects of instructions for the program. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervising and educating students at clinical sites using a variety of learning experiences and activities
Facilitating clinical learning experiences
Assisting with assessment and evaluation of students' achievement of clinical learning outcomes
Promoting a safe learning environment for a diverse student body in accordance with the established course syllabi
Utilizing a variety of teaching methods in instruction
Providing students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines)
Utilizing technology to include a simulated electronic health record system
Adhering to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction
Efficient maintenance of student records
Instructor must be knowledgeable of institutional policies and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in Nursing
Georgia Nurse license in good standing
Minimum one (1) year long-term care nursing experience
Train the Trainer Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and/or teaching experience via distance learning/online
