Duties Description The Office of Field Experiences seeks qualified candidates for a probationary/permanent Program Aide (SG13), paraprofessional, administrative support position. Working in a team-orientated environment and utilizing a detailed working knowledge and understanding of SUNY, New York State, and campus policies and procedures, the Program Aide functions as a paraprofessional performing a wide variety of independently managed, administrative activities to support the work of the Director, the staff, and the Office of Field Experiences. The successful candidate will perform a range of specialized clerical duties in support of the overall operations of the Office of Field Experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Director of the Office of Field Experiences (OFE), the successful candidate will:-Effectively communicate verbally, and in written form.-Establish and maintain working relationships with others in the office, in other organizational units, in other New York State agencies, and with p-12 school partners.-Assist OFE staff members and faculty in the Professional Education Unit (PEU) to secure clinical field experiences for undergraduate and graduate teacher candidates.-Collaborate with faculty and members of the Registrar's Office to create student teaching courses and assign Clinical Field Supervisors who serve as course instructors.-Establish, update and maintain database of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with p-12 schools.-Develop spreadsheets and tabulation of data for analysis in programs such as Microsoft Excel.-Routinely examine OFE budget and provide updates using Business Intelligence.-Oversee travel procedures and payment for Clinical Field Supervisors.-Collaborate with other offices on campus to ensure p-12 cooperating teachers receive compensation for services.-Assist in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of employees.-Be aware of, understand, and follow all university policies.The hiring salary for a Program Aide, SG13 is $53,413 annually. This is a full-time, probationary/permanent, 12-month, day shift, CSEA-represented position. Fredonia prides itself on an outstanding workforce. Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience performing clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional work in an office environment
