Description
In this role, you will be the driving force that collaborates with accounting statutory and compliance teams and technical teams around the globe to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible - all while maintaining a strong customer focus. You will work with stakeholders and multiple global accounting teams to identify, define, and specify solutions meeting our customers' needs. This role concentrates on automation of Global Compliance reporting. This position is office-based.
Key job responsibilities
Audit Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison between Accounting, Tax, and external auditors (including EY), orchestrating year-end financial audits and ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of audit requirements.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Accounting, Tax, Program Management, and Technology teams to establish robust tracking mechanisms for technical initiatives that enhance financial statement preparation and audit execution.
Identify dependencies across Internal Accounting, Tax, and external audit teams; develop and execute comprehensive action plans to maintain alignment and mitigate delivery risks.
Program Management
Define and execute a strategy to automate, centralize, and accelerate the delivery of 4,000+ audit datasets supporting audits across 80+ countries. Partner with auditors to prioritize high-value datasets and collaborate with Finance Technology teams to implement end-to-end automation.
Develop a centralized data-sharing strategy for 300+ datasets exchanged between Accounting and Tax. Partner with Tax stakeholders to prioritize datasets and work with Finance Technology teams to automate and streamline data flows.
Drive programs to completion across multiple organizations, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and make informed trade-off decisions balancing business priorities with technical constraints.
Plan and manage multiple parallel initiatives, optimizing resource allocation for maximum organizational impact.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual stakeholder communications on Local Statutory close status, delivering actionable insights through performance metrics and efficiency analytics.
Leverage AI-ML technologies, BlackLine, Excel, and Amazon's internal data visualization tools dashboards to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into strategic recommendations for leadership.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the Local Statutory close process to maintain momentum and meet critical deadlines.
Provide escalation management and implement corrective actions to ensure audit quality, compliance, and delivery commitments.
Anticipate challenges and make informed trade-off decisions while balancing competing priorities.
Customer Support & Process Optimization
Act as the primary point of contact for Accounting and Tax teams during month-end close, triaging issues and coordinating resolution across Technology and Program Management teams.
Partner with stakeholders to identify standardization opportunities within Local Statutory processes, driving global alignment and operational efficiency.
Strategic Initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement process improvements that accelerate close timelines, enhance audit readiness, and strengthen internal controls.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, and commitment across multiple global teams with competing priorities.
Lead large-scale initiatives that improve statutory reporting processes and enable scalable, sustainable operations.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
Multiple years of experience delivering cross functional projects
Multiple years of experience in program or project management
Skilled in data visualization techniques using but not limited to technologies such as SQL, Alteryx, VBA, Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally/written) with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels, from operational roles to executive leadership.
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous requests and manage multiple competing priorities, prioritizing effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
University degree in Accounting or Finance
ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA qualification;
Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, IMPA) or equivalent experience
Experienced ERP user
Experience with using technology solutions to optimize business process.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Adept in basic Accounting and Tax reporting concepts.
Cross-functional projects experience.
