Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to a caring, team-first culture grounded in integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and support site protocols for restricted areas and after-hours access.

Communicate with hospital personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and/or concerns requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
