We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows to support both casual dining and fine dining settings.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering, stock management, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain excellent food safety practices and customer service standards.
Monitor shift management to ensure smooth operations during all service hours.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in menu planning and food production for various service @types including casual dining, banquet events, catering, and bar services.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
Enforce food safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations.
Collaborate with management team to develop budgets, control costs, and improve overall restaurant performance.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or culinary leadership roles within quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively, including training and development of staff.
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.
Hospitality management experience preferred; background in hotel or catering services is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during shift management.
