Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support construction and renovation project administration in Los Altos, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, process-driven work and wants to contribute to project coordination in an onsite environment. The position offers hands-on exposure to project support activities, scheduling, record management, and administrative follow-through for a busy renovation team.
Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and maintain project information accurately across spreadsheets, tracking tools, and internal systems.
Provide administrative coordination for renovation and construction-related activities, ensuring documentation and requests are handled promptly.
Track schedules, task progress, and project-related updates to help keep work moving according to plan.
Assist with basic accounts payable support by organizing invoices, monitoring submissions, and maintaining accurate records.
Manage incoming task or ticket requests related to contracts, project needs, and team coordination.
Use Excel, Smartsheet, and comparable software to organize data, prepare reports, and monitor project activity.
Partner with project leadership to support operational improvements, including contributions to future automation or AI-enabled workflows.
Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to support day-to-day project administration and follow-up. Requirements - Strong data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfort using Excel and other digital tools for tracking, reporting, and administrative support.
Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to evolving processes and priorities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner.
Interest in construction, real estate, design, or project-based environments.
Strong communication skills and a dependable, proactive approach to completing assigned work.
