The Position (Summary):

The Mechanical Assembler 3 (Temporary) will be responsible for expert-level assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with current engineering configurations. Work includes new product assembly, refurbished components/assemblies, testing, engineering proto@type development, and building maintenance.

Minimum Essential Requirements:

Independently lead the assembly of sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and systems per manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials, schematics, and instructions

Expert level proficiency operating and selecting appropriate hand tools and small power tools with a full understanding of their use and function

Advanced knowledge using precision measuring tools and full understanding required fitments/tolerances

Expert knowledge of pneumatic schematics, symbols, and plumbing

Strong working knowledge of water/hydraulic schematics, symbols, and plumbing

Perform detailed inspections of all work before passing it on to the next operation

Lead troubleshooting efforts on assemblies down to individual component level to determine root cause of failure and collaborate with engineering to find corrective action
