Event Assistant Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Event Services in all aspects of an event lifecycle

Assists with cleaning, maintaining, setup/teardown pre/post events and be hands on during events.

Attention to detail and consistence of service

Obtain work assignments

Fulfill the requirements per each Event Orders (EO)

Set up equipment as needed

Understand and complete tasks

Report evidence of facility/maintenance repairs, damage or vandalism.

Follow all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations and emergency procedures established at the facility.

Must adhere to company dress code which includes non-slip closed toe shoes

Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions.

Be personable, courteous and helpful to all guests/attendees

Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered through the course of employment

Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance and grooming must conform to CHECC dress code.

Maintain good attendance and promptness

All other duties as assigned

Flexible availability to work certain shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

Must have sense of urgency and be able to respond quickly, resourcefully and problem solve

Able to listen and follow instructions. Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

Able to lift and move heavy objects

Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results in a fast- paced environment.

Able to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.

Common sense

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED

1-2 years of customer service

Computer Skills:

Operate a personal computer and other standard office equipment, be proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point, and have a basic understanding or willingness to learn booking software systems.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

No certifications are required

Willingness to obtain

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.

May require extended periods of walking/ standing on cement floors

May require periods of sitting

May require feeling and reaching with hands and arms

May require some bending and stooping

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, generally not subject to adverse working conditions.

May require limited exposure to dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc., including weather

May require irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evening, and holidays, determined by event schedule and/or department needs.
