supply chain optimization lead - Sourcing Operations
Now Brewing - optimization lead! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
Build the systems, insights, and capabilities that power the future of our supply chain. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, supply chain strategy, planning, technology, and analytics. Play a critical role in shaping how our sourcing organization operates, designing scalable solutions, and delivering predictive and proactive insights that enable better, faster decisions across the business. You'll partner closely with sourcing, planning, technology teams, and cross functional stakeholders to deliver spend analytics and market insights and translate business needs into effective system capabilities. From driving adoption of tools to building forward looking reporting and alerts, your work will directly influence how we anticipate demand, manage risk and complexity, and continuously improve how we operate. This is a rare opportunity to move beyond "running the plan" and instead help design the systems, insights, and ways of working that define how planning happens. Your work will improve visibility, reduce friction, and enable smarter decisions-at scale.
As an optimization lead, you will...
Lead planning technology evolution by translating business needs into system capabilities, guiding implementations, driving adoption, and partnering with technology teams to ensure tools enable planners effectively.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization by identifying enhancement opportunities, delivering prioritized initiatives, and strengthening consistent sourcing processes and best practices across teams.
Advance reporting and insights by building sustainable KPI frameworks, proactive alerts, and trusted analytics that improve visibility, decision making, and sourcing/supply chain performance.
