Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $22.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 08:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, verifying credentials when required and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.

Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and communicating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
