Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

This role offers an opportunity for a reliable and experienced Construction Laborer to contribute to local Prevailing Wage projects. You will work hands-on in concrete, masonry, and general construction tasks while supporting skilled trades and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and site organization. The position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with concrete and masonry work, including placement, cutting, and preparation of materials.

Utilize hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and demolition tools safely and efficiently.

Perform precision work, including cutting block and assisting with layout as directed by supervisors or skilled trades.

Support skilled tradespeople and site supervisors with daily construction tasks and project needs.

Maintain a clean and organized jobsite by removing debris, staging materials, and keeping work areas orderly.

Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment as needed around the jobsite.

Follow all jobsite safety protocols and OSHA requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

Work effectively as part of a crew, taking direction from supervisors and collaborating with team members.

Assist with general construction labor tasks as assigned to support project progress and timelines.

Essential Skills

Proven experience as a construction laborer, preferably with exposure to concrete and masonry work.

Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools, including saws, grinders, drills, and demolition tools.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision tasks such as cutting block and assisting with layout.

Reliable transportation to and from local job sites.

Consistent dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Capability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding labor in outdoor conditions.

Eligibility to work on Prevailing Wage projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Hill, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.14 - $41.14/hr.
