As an Access Control Officer in a residential location, you will help manage entry points, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail while helping to reduce security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with community rules.

Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant activity and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.

Perform routine screening of vehicles, deliveries, and/or contractors entering the property, following post orders and reporting unusual or suspicious activity.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
