Title: Applications Analyst III
Location: Hybrid position. Candidate must be local to Massachusetts and have the ability to come in-person as needed for the position.
We're seeking a Workday functional analyst with specific expertise within the Workday Supply Chain module.
Job Overview
Perform high level IT application implementation, optimization, and support activities. Work on complex to highly complex applications that are highly critical to operations. Is the subject matter expert. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff. Work independently with minimal technical guidance in the performance of duties. Lead small to medium size complex projects with oversight and may be a key leader in large projects.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years of relevant experience OR Associate degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience.

Apply detailed knowledge of system functionality to the implementation of new applications and modules.
Use knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements.
Use technical and analytical skills to determine the best approaches to tailoring systems to meet individual requirements.
Build and configure systems to meet requirements, using available application tools.
Create documentation of custom builds as appropriate.
Develop test scenarios based on requirements.
Participate in testing or lead integrated testing, coordinating resources and organizing issue tracking.
Research and resolve issues.
Provide input to application implementation event plans.
Provide support during application implementation events, including occasional off-hours support.
Lead small to medium size complex projects with oversight
Provide technical and professional guidance to less experienced resources as needed.
Responsible for the more complex builds and issue research/resolution.
Manage small and medium-sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. May take a key leadership role in larger projects. Develop key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and application implementation events plans.
Build enhancements to current functionality using application tools.
Participate in detailed testing of software updates and upgrades.
Respond to issues reported by users; research and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Provide excellent customer service: communicate in a friendly and professional manner, empathize with users on system issue impacts, set appropriate expectations on issue resolution.
Responsible for ongoing on call duties for one or more applications which generate incidents outside of business hours. Often on call for the most critical applications requiring the fastest and most skilled level of response. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues escalated by the Help Desk.
Collaborate with vendor support personnel to research and resolve vendor product issues.
Participate in vendor user groups and online listservs, and review contents of vendor updates, to ensure optimization of the capabilities of the assigned applications.
Participate in cross-training, as a trainer and a learner, for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of 5-10 lbs.
May be required to travel to a healthcare site or other designated location..
Mental requirements will be intense at times with involvement in many concurrent multi-faceted projects.
Manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate a computer keyboard or related equipment.
Ability to see computer screen, monitoring equipment and reports.

Job Profile Summary
?This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of information technology (IT) solutions in order to meet the organization's needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure and the management of the IT infrastructure. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Client Applications Support duties: Designs, develops, implements, and updates internal IT applications in accordance with specifications and business needs., designs, codes, tests, and debugs computer programs, and prepares systems documentation and training. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. A senior level role that requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically responsible for: managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision, coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals, resolving difficult and sometimes complex problems.

$101,084.26 - $128,878.21
