Summary You will serve as a EDUCATION SPECIALIST (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR) in the International Programs Office (IPO). of NAVAL ACADEMY. Responsibilities You will plan and manage the internal affairs of the US Naval Academy's International Programs Office. You will serve as the unit government purchase travel cardholder and can capably maintain accurate financial and detailed records and perform monthly reconciliations. You will prepare annual and quarterly budget estimates; and maintaining financial and trip records for faculty and midshipmen. You will develop strong interpersonal skill set being able to develop relationships with Naval Academy Midshipmen, faculty, staff, and counterpart foreign service academies and universities. You will serve as a liaison with external partners for coordination of travel itineraries. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinates with faculty and midshipmen on official travel; 2) Reviews training and travel requests for additional operating funds; 3) Prepares annual and quarterly budget estimates; and maintains financial and trip records for faculty and midshipmen and; 4) Serves as a liaison with external partners for coordination of travel itineraries.
