Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Description
The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of industrial wastewater disposal facilities, including Class 1 and Class 2 wastewater wells. This role leads a team of approximately seven employees, collaborates closely with the engineering team, and participates directly in lab testing to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant wastewater treatment and disposal for industrial and manufacturing clients.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of Class 1 and Class 2 wastewater wells, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant facility performance.
Supervise a team of approximately seven employees, providing direction, coaching, and support to maintain high operational standards.
Coordinate and participate in lab testing activities to monitor water and wastewater quality and verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the engineering team in the testing lab to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve operational efficiency.
Manage operational workflows at well sites, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of activities across facilities.
Ensure all wastewater treatment and disposal processes meet environmental, safety, and quality standards applicable to industrial wastewater.
Apply mechanical aptitude to understand, operate, and support the maintenance of equipment used at well sites and in the lab.
Provide a strong customer service focus when interacting with industrial and manufacturing clients, addressing operational needs and concerns.
Support operational management initiatives, including process improvements, performance tracking, and adherence to company procedures.
Contribute to business development efforts as needed by supporting operational input for new opportunities and client relationships.
Maintain accurate operational and testing records in collaboration with lab and engineering teams.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability across the operations team.
Essential Skills
At least 3-5 years of experience in operations, preferably in an industrial setting.
4-6 years of experience in industrial wastewater operations or related wastewater treatment environments.
Hands-on experience in lab testing related to water or wastewater quality.
Proven operations management experience, including supervising staff and overseeing daily facility activities.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and wastewater treatment facility operations.
Experience working at well sites or similar industrial facilities.
Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team.
Customer service skills to effectively support and communicate with industrial and manufacturing clients.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and work with industrial and treatment equipment.
Completion of at least 1 year of technical school or college in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in business development within an industrial or environmental services @context.
Background in operations supervision or team leadership in a similar industry.
Familiarity with environmental service operations and wastewater disposal services for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Understanding of the operational considerations of Class 1 injection wells and Class 2 wastewater wells.
Interest in contributing to process improvements and operational optimization initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
The position starts at 100k and can go upwards of 120k, they offer full benefits, 401k, PTO is flexible, Paid holidays, annual bonuses.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Stroud,OK.
