CAD Technician

As a CAD Technician, you will be a part of the team that is responsible for designing and prototyping new products for manufacturing, repair, and support groups within Reynolds and Reynolds, as well as redesigning existing products with technical complications. Your primary responsibility will be transcribing existing parts from drawings and physical parts into 3D models. You will also be building and testing proto@types as well as some minor electronics work.

Requirements:

Experience using CAD modeling software (i.e. Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor or Autodesk Fusion 360)

Currently pursuing/obtained a technical or business degree with computer modeling (ideal majors: Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a general CAD drawing/ modeling major)

Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with modeling and existing products

Good mechanical background, a plus

General knowledge of electronics, a plus
