Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Physical Therapist Resident to join a dynamic acute care rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician to build advanced clinical expertise through hands-on patient care, mentorship, and a structured residency program.
As a PT Resident, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while expanding your clinical skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll work alongside experienced physical therapists, participate in advanced training, and contribute to meaningful patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
Evaluate, treat, and manage patients within CA licensing and APTA scope of practice
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment goals and discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet productivity standards
Recommend and train patients on assistive and adaptive equipment
Participate in rounds, care conferences, and continuity of care planning
Actively engage in residency program requirements including mentorship, didactics, and clinical development activities
Pay
The anticipated wage for this position is between $87 to $92. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Graduation from an approved Physical Therapy program
Active California Physical Therapist license
BLS - Basic Life Support certification
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage caseloads, document effectively, and deliver patient-centered care
Two professional or academic letters of recommendation
