Job Title: Operations Manager I Req. # 1450-M Posting Date: 4/16/2026-4/22/2026 Compensation: $139,321 - $170,287(Annual) VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. Ensures the highest standards of industrial safety and operational excellence by effectively managing the day-to-day operations of moderate hazard nuclear facilities in the assigned project function. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in technical discipline from an accredited institution or the recognized equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum of eight (8) years of professional level related experience with progressively increasing responsibility. A minimum of four (4) years of experience working at a nuclear facility or DOE government contractor. Supervisory experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Recent workforce management experience a must with some understanding of schedules and operations as it relates to PMs and maintenance of systems, equipment and facilities and knowledge of the operation of systems as it relates to the operations of systems like ventilation, site water management systems, utilities etc. Other Requirements: Must possess knowledge and experience of industry standard software applications including Microsoft 365. Technical understanding of basic construction, demolition, maintenance, radiological operations, and safety protocols. Must have ability to review technical drawings, schedules and procedures for completeness and feasibility, exceptional problem resolution capabilities. Must be self-directed to establish priorities, work schedules, control cost and meet deadlines. Must be able to develop and execute short- and long-term plans and deliver quality contract deliverables to the DOE customer. Must be able to trend, analyze, and anticipate a wide variety of issues and provide documented solutions to difficult problems. Must have the ability to interpret and apply policies, guidelines, laws, and instructions from multiple sources in a comprehensive approach. Must be able to create broad and intensive practices to establish concepts, theories, or programs, or to resolve complex problems. Must be able to interface with individuals or groups from inside and outside the organization, senior management, as well as high-ranking officials from outside the organization. Must be able to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle contract matters involving significant or controversial issues in accordance with contract practices. Must possess general knowledge and understanding of corporate policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements for 413.3B Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets and the implementing Guide 413.3-1.
