Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
The Electrical Foreman leads field electrical work on a large-scale construction project, overseeing the build-out of various sized enclosures and coordinating both electrical and low-voltage installations on site. This role guides a small to mid-sized team of technicians, ensures high-quality workmanship, and supports the successful completion of complex electrical systems in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day electrical activities for a field crew working on a large-scale project.
Oversee cutting and installing cable tray, conduit, and component support systems to meet project specifications.
Direct the installation of conduit and other raceway systems for line voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage applications.
Supervise the installation of electrical components such as lighting, heaters, fire protection and sensing equipment, battery systems and chargers, panelboards, transformers, switches, and receptacles.
Guide technicians in pulling wires for line voltage, medium voltage, low voltage systems, and network cabling.
Ensure proper termination of all electrical and low-voltage systems in accordance with codes, standards, and drawings.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installation tasks.
Monitor work quality, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on support to resolve electrical and low-voltage problems.
Coordinate with the site superintendent to align crew activities with overall project schedules and goals.
Promote safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment on the job site.
Support the development and skill advancement of Electrical Technicians through on-the-job coaching.
Maintain a productive, team-oriented work environment, even when tasks are repetitive or highly detailed.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in the electrical field, including installation and service work.
Experience working with low-voltage systems and network cabling.
Proficiency in installing and working with conduit and other raceway systems.
Ability to perform panel wiring and panel building tasks.
Strong skills in wire pulling for line voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in the field.
Mechanical aptitude for installing and supporting electrical components and systems.
Experience leading or coordinating work within a small to mid-sized electrical crew is strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical installation and service work.
Experience with electronics and low-voltage equipment.
Familiarity with fire protection and sensing equipment, battery systems, chargers, panelboards, transformers, switches, and receptacles.
Interest in progressing through an apprenticeship program and advancing toward journeyman-level status.
Ability to work from multiple office regions or project locations as needed within typical travel ranges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment
The role is field-based on a large-scale project, working in small to mid-sized teams under the supervision of a site superintendent. The work involves hands-on installation of electrical and low-voltage systems within various sized enclosures, using company-provided power tools and equipment, while employees supply their own basic hand tools and tool belt. The schedule typically runs Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with the possibility of later hours and an average of around 45 hours per week. The environment can be repetitive at times, but the tasks are technically challenging and varied enough to keep work engaging while steadily advancing skills. Multiple regional offices support projects across different areas, and work is performed in an active construction and installation setting that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and consistent productivity.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $45.00/hr.
