Job Title: Electrical Technician - Conduit Bending Specialist

Job Description

This role focuses on performing high-quality electrical installations with a strong emphasis on precise conduit bending in a new construction environment. You will support electrical build-out activities in two new facilities, ensuring all work meets safety standards, project specifications, and applicable codes while collaborating closely with other trades on site.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and efficient conduit bending for a variety of electrical installations in new construction buildings.

Install electrical conduit, raceways, and related hardware according to blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring in accordance with code requirements and site standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and construction documents to determine layout and routing for conduit and wiring.

Follow directions from supervisors and project leads to complete assigned tasks on schedule and to required quality standards.

Use hand tools, power tools, and bending equipment safely and correctly to complete conduit and wiring installations.

Inspect completed work to verify alignment, support, and integrity of conduit runs and electrical connections.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and comply with all site safety rules and procedures.

Collaborate with other electricians and construction team members to coordinate work and resolve on-site installation issues.

Essential Skills

Strong proficiency in conduit bending, including accurate measurement, layout, and execution.

Hands-on experience with electrical conduit installation in a construction or commercial environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.

Practical knowledge of electrical wiring methods and installation practices.

Reliability and strong work ethic, with the ability to follow directions consistently and accurately.

Ability to work safely with electrical tools, equipment, and materials on an active construction site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience working on large-scale construction or industrial projects.

Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards in a construction setting.

Ability to troubleshoot basic installation issues related to conduit runs and wiring paths.

Strong attention to detail to ensure clean, professional, and code-compliant installations.

Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with supervisors and team members.

Work Environment

This position is based on an active construction site within two new buildings, where work is primarily performed indoors but may involve varied conditions as the facilities are completed. You will work with standard electrical tools, conduit benders, and installation equipment, often on your feet for extended periods and occasionally on ladders or lifts. The schedule typically follows standard construction hours, with potential for additional hours as project needs require. Attire should be appropriate for a construction environment, including sturdy work clothing and footwear suitable for safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and other required protective equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
