Description

-Manage daily field operations to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client standards -Enforce OSHA regulations, safety programs, and site-specific safety plans -Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and crews to maintain project schedules -Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work packages -Monitor progress against schedule and budget; identify and mitigate risks or delays -Conduct pre-construction meetings, daily tailboards, and coordination meetings with stakeholders -Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and laydown area logistics -Review and approve field changes, RFIs, change orders, and as-built documentation -Support testing and closeout activities including punch lists and turnover packages

Must Have: -5+ years of experience within construction management (commercial or industrial) -Clear, effective communicator with strong listening and presentation abilities -Proven problem solver with sound judgment and decisive decision making skills -Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Nice to Have: -Previous utility construction PM experience -Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, related

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
