Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT in the ADMINISTRATION AND WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT. Responsibilities You will prepare and compose a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring correspondence, reports, and other documents. You will assist in coordinating ceremonies, meetings, and conferences. You will maintain an accurate record of all reports and publications, and revise distribution lists as necessary. You will review travel and transportation reservations for the command. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to share information, correspondence, and reports summarizing issues to all levels of the chain of command; 2) Applying knowledge of military functions, policies, and regulations pertaining to preparing and maintaining reports, files, and records; 3) Utilizing knowledge of travel regulations and procedures for administrative support; and 4) Handling sensitive materials in accordance with policy and procedures. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of four years of education above high school.
