About the Role:
The Senior Finance Director, Strategic Finance - Strategic Occupier Accounts (SOA), is the senior finance leader accountable for shaping financial strategy, decision frameworks, and account governance across the SOA business. This role operates as a strategic thought partner to executive and account leadership, owning how financial insight, commercial rigor, and performance transparency are embedded across the SOA account lifecycle.
This role requires strong executive presence, deep commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear strategic narratives that inform direction setting and drive alignment across senior stakeholders. The Senior Finance Director leads and develops high performing finance talent while continuously evolving financial models, workflows, and standards to support scalable, disciplined growth across the SOA and Account Management portfolio.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a strategic finance advisor to SOA executive leadership, providing independent challenge and perspective on performance, profitability, and strategic trade offs.
Lead advanced, forward looking financial analyses across the SOA portfolio, including margin sustainability, scenario modeling, and risk/opportunity assessments.
Define, govern, and continuously evolve the finance led SOA account management workflow, embedding financial rigor into key moments across the account lifecycle (planning, pricing, performance reviews, renewals, and growth initiatives).
Establish and maintain standardized financial frameworks, metrics, and executive views used consistently across SOA accounts to drive transparency, comparability, and accountability.
Ensure financial insights are fully integrated into account governance models, operating rhythms, and executive decision forums.
Identify structural gaps in current workflows and drive enhancements that improve scalability, decision quality, and financial outcomes.
Partner with sales, account, and operations leadership to balance growth objectives with risk management and return thresholds.
Lead SOA level planning, forecasting, and performance management with a focus on future outcomes, leading indicators, and strategic implications, not just historical results.
Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, executive ready narratives that articulate what matters, why it matters, and what actions are required.
Influence outcomes through insight, logic, and business @context rather than authority alone.
Lead, mentor, and develop senior finance leaders and managers, building a high performing team with strong analytical, commercial, and storytelling capabilities.
Set expectations for rigor, curiosity, and enterprise level thinking across the SOA finance organization.
Champion continuous improvement by modernizing financial models, analytical tools, and decision frameworks at scale.
