Position Summary:

We are seeking an Operations Accountant to join a leading financial services organization with operations across the United States. This three-month consulting engagement will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Seeking local or regional candidates who can commute to the Philadelphia office for occasional hybrid, in-office work.

Essential Duties:

· Perform cash and bank account reconciliations.

· Prepare and analyze operational financial reports.

· Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

· Support reporting requests and provide technical assistance.

· Identify opportunities to improve accounting and operational processes.

· Partner with operations, procurement, and management teams.

· Document business requirements and support process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of two years of accounting, financial analysis, operations, or business optimization experience.

· Financial services industry experience is preferred.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

· Cash Reconciliations and/or Bank Reconciliations experience.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

· Self-starter, highly self-motivated with an ability to take instructions.

· Ability to prioritize work and execute tasks while under pressure.

· Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $30 - 35.
