Job Description:
DNA Lead Data Scientist (Multiple Positions), Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Develop
data mappings, create transformation models, and design workflows to standardize and load data from
various ERP systems into a unified Datamart. Drive business results with data-based insights. Use
advanced mathematical models, operations research techniques, and simulation to deliver insights,
recommendations, and solutions to address manufacturing and business challenges. Use large data sets
to find opportunities for manufacturing and process optimization and use models to test the effectiveness
of different courses of action. Utilize a variety of data mining and analysis methods, tools, models,
algorithms, and simulations to build, implement, and run comprehensive data-driven solutions. Develop
custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Manage individual analyses and provide clear
communications of findings and recommendations. Organize team materials to facilitate reviews, quality
checks, and deliverables and present findings to leadership.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Statistics, Applied Mathematics,
Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
Mapping standardized schema from at least three (3) of the following ERP systems, such as
MAPICS, IBM, SAP S4, Oracle, Navision, and/or JD Edwards;
Writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL);
Utilizing cloud-based data tools (e.g., Azure Synapse and Databricks) and creating ETL pipelines
for large-scale data processing and end-to-end solutions;
Delivering findings and results in an agile project model team setting;
Performing data mining, data analytics, and predictive modeling with Python and PySpark;
Data warehousing concepts, Datamart design, and best practices for building and maintaining
scalable data systems; and
Advanced statistical techniques and concepts, such as regression, properties of distributions,
statistical testing, and proper usage, and experience with their applications.
Telecommuting permitted up to one (1) day per week.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$105,000 - $115,000/yr.
