Our client, a leading global organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer / Cost Analyst to join their team. This role is critical in supporting cost estimation, procurement analysis, and financial planning within industrial and manufacturing projects.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cost analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Job Title: Cost Engineer / Cost Analyst

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $44.80 - $46.04/hour

What's the Job?

Analyze and estimate costs related to materials, labor, and production within manufacturing projects

Support procurement and cost control processes to ensure budget alignment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and procurement

Develop and maintain cost models, reports, and forecasts

Evaluate project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

Participate in project planning by providing accurate cost insights

Review and monitor expenditures throughout different project phases

What's Needed?

3-5 years of experience in cost analysis, cost estimating, procurement, or cost engineering

Background in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)

Experience with cost modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools

Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively

Nice to Have:

Experience in life sciences or regulated manufacturing environments

Previous roles such as Cost Analyst, Cost Engineer, or Procurement Engineer
