Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our Client Reporting team. This role ensures the financial integrity of client contracts through accurate P& L management, balance sheet reconciliations, and comprehensive financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a tech-forward mindset to help navigate our system migration while managing complex client billing cycles and accruals.

Core Responsibilities

Contract & Revenue Management

Contractual Compliance: Responsible for ensuring all payments are made by the due dates outlined in client contracts.

Data Integrity: Ensure all fees and rents are recorded accurately and tie directly to contractual agreements.

Invoicing: Finalize client invoices by their respective due dates

Operational Reporting: Prepare manual schedules and reports for clients, ensuring revenue summaries, payroll, and all additional supporting schedules tie to statements.

Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and record monthly journal entries in accordance with client contract terms while ensuring financial activity adheres to GAAP.

Financial Reporting & P& L Analysis

Month-End / Quarterly Close Execution: Manage the month-end close activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.

Lease Reporting: Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual lease reports.

Accrual Management: Manage parent and lease accruals, including subcontractors and accounts payable expenses.

P& L Review: Conduct Client/Parent/Lease P& L reviews

Expense Controls: Ensure all contractual requirements are followed, such as specific caps on insurance and other expenses.

Audit Support: Perform analytical reviews as required and support annual client / external / internal audits.

Balance Sheet & Reconciliations

AR Reconciliations: Complete Accrued reconciliations and Accounts Receivable reconciliations prior to EOM.

Banking & Cash: Manage trust bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations for both consolidated and non-consolidated locations.

Account Maintenance: Clear balance sheets for terminated locations and manage specific accounts such as miscellaneous payable and prepaid expenses.

Accounts Receivable: Perform weekly AR scrubs to review for short/over payments, unapplied cash, and aging accuracy.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.

Technical Skills: Oracle experience is a strong plus as the company migrates to this platform.

o Strong communication skills for coordinating with operations teams, clients and internal stakeholders.

o Ability to manage high-volume processes with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.

o Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team.

o Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools to automate reconciliations, enhance reporting accuracy, and streamline repetitive accounting processes is a strong plus.

Requirements
