fill 3 Dishwasher positions from July 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026. This
is for temporary, full-time peakload employment. Duties include: Under
the supervision of restaurant owner, a dishwasher will clean and
sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen
equipment quickly and efficiently. Clean and rinse plates, loads and
unloads dish machines, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the
dish area and supports overall kitchen sanitation, including emptying
trash, sweeping and mopping floors. The Dishwasher will occasionally
assist kitchen staff with basic food prep work, such as portioning
sauces into two-ounce cups using a scoop, washing potatoes using hands
in a sink and portioning various foods, including potato wedges,
vegetables, onion rings, and cooked pasta using hands and weighing with
a scale as needed.
Requirements: No education is required. However, 3 months of
experience is required as a dishwasher.
Required special skills/certifications: Must be able to stand, walk,
and move around for extended periods.
Workers will be paid no less than \$16.51/per hour, based on experience.
Overtime is available as needed up to 30 hours per week at \$24.77 per
hour based on hourly rate. Work will be performed from Monday through
Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with Wednesday as the designated day
off. Days and times may vary based on business needs. Employer will
offer at least 40 hours per week. Job opportunity is temporary,
full-time position. The requested temporary workers will be based at 9
Lakeview Dr, St. Agatha, ME 04 772 including the county of Aroostook-
Northeast Maine nonmetropolitan area. Employer will provide
transportation to and from worksite.
Single work week will be used to compute wages due. Pay period is
weekly. Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck required
by law. Housing will be provided by employer at a rate of \$10.00 per
day deducted from payroll. Housing if optional to workers. If the worker
completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay
directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of
recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract
or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or
pay for the workers reasonable costs for return transportation and
subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to
work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent
employment with another. The amount of transportation payment or
reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common
carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at
a rate of \$16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of
\$68.00
per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first week of work for all
visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees,
including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but
not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the
benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker at no charge
all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job and on the
job training on the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer
guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at
least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total
employment period.
