Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality production, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory management and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: East Durham, NY

Pay Range: $22.50/hr + Overtime

Shift: Day Shift- 7:00am - 7:00pm

Rotating Schedule- 2 on, 3 off, 3 on, 2 off (Every Other Weekend)

What's the Job?

Receive, administer, and control inventory of raw and packaging materials

Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to perform all inventory moves

Maintain accurate inventory levels using ERP systems

Complete daily stock transactions and checks

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement continuous improvement projects

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic math skills and proficiency in reading and writing in English

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Flexibility to work extended hours as needed

Experience operating PITs or certifications preferred
