Supervisor Information Technology - Business Intelligence

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin 2450 Peoria, US:CO:Aurora

Department: UCHlth Business Intelligence

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $48.56 - $72.84 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This may be a 100% work-from-home opportunity but you must reside in Colorado.

Summary:

Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function within Information Systems.

Responsibilities:

Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.

Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.

Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.

Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.

5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

EHR experience (Epic preferred)

Business intelligence platform experience (Power BI preferred)

T-SQL expertise o ETL/ELT expertise (SSIS, dbt preferred)

Cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred)

Expertise enabling efficient data retrieval for analysis purposes

Expertise in gathering requirements and deciphering complex business needs

Some understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and data warehousing

Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders

Ability to prioritize effectively in a demanding environment

Leadership experience, including resource development or mentorship or coaching
