Summary The Pipefitter Supervisor is a part of Engineering Program's Plumbing/Machine Shop which is responsible for the plumbing/machine work projects at North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System facilities. The Pipefitter Supervisor supervises approximately seven subordinates. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Inspects the jobs in-progress and finished work for quality and completeness. Responsible for recording time and material expended per job. Responsible for ensuring proper completion of all NFPA and Joint Commission quality assurance tests and inspections. Maintain up-to-date, legible record of tests and inspections to ensure patient safety and TJC/NFPA compliance. Directs and assigns work to employees. Education Additional Information Receiving Service Credit for Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
