Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction industry, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting project design and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Remote, Southern California, travel to job sites

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000

What's the Job?

Evaluate, design, and improve mechanical HVAC systems using advanced software tools such as Revit, CAD, and BIM.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope and develop detailed design plans.

Perform building system analysis, testing, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Lead project surveys, feasibility studies, and site visits to gather critical data for design accuracy.

Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, civil engineers, and architects to ensure seamless project execution.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 20 years of experience working as part of a design team in a relevant industry.

Proficiency with CAD, Revit, BIM, Energy Pro, Carrier HAP, and Trace software.

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.

Ability to lead and develop engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
