Accounts Payable Wizard - Up to $18/hour or $720/week + OT Availability

Location: St Albans, WV

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range (if appropriate): Up to 18/hour pr $720/week (pretax)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Traditional work hours

Key Responsibilities / What You'll Do

Process, code, and enter vendor invoices with speed and precision

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (the golden trio!)

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies before they become problems

Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH/wire)

Maintain organized, audit-ready AP files and records

Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing questions

Support month-end close processes and assist with accruals

Follow all company financial policies and compliance procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

High school diploma or GED

1+ year of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience

Proficiency with basic computer skills and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)

Strong attention to detail - because one misplaced decimal changes everything

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Dependability, integrity, and a team-first mindset

Nice-to-Have

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Familiarity with 1099 preparation and vendor management

Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or government billing environments
