Job summary
JPMorganChase Prime Financial Services (PFS) unifies Prime Finance and Futures & Derivatives Clearing within the Commercial & Investment Bank, offering clients conventional and synthetic financing, global securities lending, clearing and settlement, comprehensive reporting, and value-added services.
As an Executive Director and Team Lead for the Prime Finance Group, you will oversee an Account Management team covering both Institutional and Hedge Fund clients. You will set the coverage strategy, service and operating model, and performance expectations for the team, while acting as a senior escalation point and strategic partner to key client decision makers. You will drive platform adoption, product delivery, and revenue outcomes across equities and derivatives, in close partnership with Sales, Product, Trading, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
Job responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop an Account Management team covering Institutional and Hedge Fund clients; set goals, establish coverage standards, and drive a culture of accountability, client advocacy, and continuous improvement.
Own the client experience at scale across product, technology, and operations for Prime Finance and Derivatives Clearing; ensure consistent delivery and measurable client outcomes.
Establish and deepen senior relationships with key client decision makers through executive engagement, strategic reviews, and industry events; serve as an escalation point for complex topics.
Drive commercial results by identifying and influencing business and revenue growth opportunities across the PFS platform, expanding share of wallet and improving client retention.
Translate client needs into firmwide solutions by holistically diagnosing client objectives and connecting them to relevant products and capabilities across the franchise.
Sponsor adoption of new products and technology by proactively engaging clients and coordinating internally to deliver enhancements across Prime and Derivatives workflows.
Use data-driven management to monitor client metrics, balances, return measures, and portfolio construction trends; set analytics expectations for the team and convert insights into action plans.
Guide clients through regulatory and market change by coordinating across internal stakeholders to address evolving regulatory landscapes, market volatility, and industry shifts-mitigating risk and improving outcomes.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve client satisfaction, operating efficiency, and product performance; partner with Operations and Technology to strengthen controls and scalability.
Maintain a strong risk and controls mindset in day-to-day leadership, ensuring appropriate governance, escalation, and adherence to applicable policies and regulatory frameworks impacting prime brokerage and derivatives clearing.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years in Prime Finance, Derivatives Clearing, or adjacent roles, with demonstrated coverage of Institutional and Hedge Fund clients.
People leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
Deep product expertise in Prime Finance and/or Cleared Derivatives, with ability to translate client needs into solutions and influence stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of enhancing and scaling offerings, driving adoption, and delivering measurable client outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence; ability to manage and strengthen senior client relationships and represent the platform credibly at the most senior levels.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to set a data-driven management cadence and turn client metrics into actionable insights and recommendations.
Familiarity with modern client-facing technologies and reporting tools used across Prime Finance and Derivatives Clearing workflows; ability to champion modernization and change management.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to improve client satisfaction, service delivery, and product performance across large stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting prime brokerage and derivatives clearing, with demonstrated ability to guide clients and internal teams through change.
Series 3, 7, 63 and 24 required within 6 months of joining.
