Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking a highly organized and motivatedAdministrative Coordinator 3to provide advanced administrative support within a dynamic correctional environment in theClassification Department.This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of daily office functions, supporting departmental leadership, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Develops and maintains procedures for document imaging, oversees the imaging workflow, and keeps accurate logs of all imaged files; may serve as a lead worker for staff performing imaging functions.
Prepares and processes supply requisitions, including entering purchasing information into automated systems and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.
Provides administrative support to a manager, including managing calendars, coordinating travel, issuing directives on their behalf, and handling routine administrative matters to support efficient office operations
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: PROBATION, or PROMOTION OF A PERMANENT, CLASSIFIED LOUISIANA STATE EMPLOYEE
Current permanent status classified LA State employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if accepted.
An employee selected for a promotion may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted.
This posting may also be used to fill a vacancy as a temporary job appointment. If filled as a temporary job appointment, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
