Our client seeks an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, uphold accounting discipline, and enhance processes for a growing manufacturing environment. The role blends full-cycle month-end close, general ledger, consolidation expertise, and leadership to ensure accurate GAAP-compliant reporting and timely filings. The manager will partner across functions, guide staff development, and drive systems and productivity improvements.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities:
Lead monthly consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations and variance analysis.
Maintain consolidation models and reporting logic in financial systems.
Ensure accurate data integration between source systems and the general ledger.
Prepare and review consolidated financial reporting packages for internal and external use, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and analyses for stakeholders.
Act as a subject matter expert for complex accounting issues and evaluate new transaction implications.
Collaborate with Finance and IT to improve accounting systems and data flows.
Serve as a liaison for external auditors, coordinating audit deliverables and addressing inquiries.
Experience Requirements:
· 5-8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit, with exposure to complex accounting areas.
· Advanced Excel and strong proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present accounting concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
· Experience with consolidation and ERP platforms such as OneStream, Hyperion, SAP, or comparable systems.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
