Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and high-availability environments, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3 to join their dedicated team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Support Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Pay Range: $48/hr on Experis W2 + Benefits (NO C2C)

What's the Job?

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of critical mechanical systems including chillers, chilled water pumps, and computer-room air handlers (CRAH).

Follow established procedures such as the chiller method of procedure (MOP) and ensure system redundancy levels are maintained.

Utilize building management systems (EPMS) to monitor and optimize facility operations.

Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA or NFPA 70E certifications, to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure systems.

What's Needed?

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical fields such as electrical, controls, or data center environments.

Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and high-availability systems.

Required: OSHA or NFPA 70E Certification.

Preferred: EPA Refrigerant License.
