Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Location: Manahawkin, New Jersey

Type: Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite. This position requires a lot of traveling to multiple properties. Will be able to use company vehicle and will receive a company credit card to use for gas and purchasing event supplies.

Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:00 PM

Activities Coordinator Job Duties:

Plan, coordinate, and run resident events (educational workshops, socials, tutoring, games, etc.), making sure everything goes smoothly and meets state guidelines

Help residents find and apply for resources like housing/utility assistance, food programs, healthcare, and job training

Partner with the Social Services Coordinator to organize staff, secure event spaces, and promote upcoming programs

Set up and oversee events, ensuring residents are safe, following guidelines, and any issues are handled quickly

Assist with preparing and purchasing materials needed for events and attend activities as scheduled

Activities Coordinator Job Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma, experience working with the public is a plus.

Must have a valid driver's license and method of own transportation.

Must be willing to travel, residences are located in Southern and Central, NJ.

Willingness to work some evenings is a must, possibly up to 3 evening a week.

Coordinator must be flexible, empathetic, creative organized and patient.
