Job Duties : Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation. Position requires:

Data science programming languages including R and Python; SQL, RDBMS, query optimization concepts and experience in querying and manipulating data for analysis; Data visualization, dashboarding and reporting using tools including Tableau, Looker, and Matplotlib; Statistical Data analysis including quantitative analysis, statistical data mining, data insights, KPI dashboard, predictive modelling, data manipulation, data modeling, and EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis); Machine Learning algorithms including decision trees, SVM, neural networks, time series, forecasting, classification, regression, clustering, graph data modeling, cross-validation, and model evaluation; ETL and ELT, data warehousing and big data concepts; Cloud Platforms including Amazon Web services and Google cloud platform; Development on IDE including Pycharm and Jupyter Notebook; and, Agile Methodologies including Kanban and SCRUM.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
